Pousada Tesouro de MInas

We’ve stayed here three times now, and the price feels fair for such a charming inn. The room was cozy, and the place itself has so much character. Breakfast was fantastic, and Rodrigo is a great guy. My fiancée and I recommend it 100%.

The location was the one good thing for us. The hygiene left a lot to be desired: there was black mildew under the bathroom sink, and the shower enclosure leaked and soaked the bathroom. Service was poor, with no proper reception. The bath towels were old, worn, and torn, and breakfast was just tolerable, with flies around. Our room was near the street, so it was noisy. There also weren’t enough parking spaces for all the rooms, and the single bed had a bad mattress. Very poor value for money. I don’t recommend it.

The service gets a 10 from me, and the breakfast was delicious, really spectacular. The rooms were very clean, and there’s secure parking. The inn is in a great spot in Tiradentes, close to everything.

Breakfast was the one thing that saved our stay. I was there on January 20, 2026, in room 01, and it was simply awful: a terrible bed, an old, moldy room, and air conditioning that didn’t work. I told reception, but they showed no interest in solving it or moving us to another room. Since it faced the street, motorcycle noise went on all night and made sleep impossible. For that price, there are surely much better inns in town.
