The staff were very polite, and the inn is close to the historic center. Breakfast was served with so much care, with lots of tasty options and a lovely table setting.

I stayed at Solar do Imperador, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. At around R$ 800 a night, I expected basic comfort and quality, but it was extremely disappointing. The shower never got properly hot. I asked for maintenance several times, but it wasn’t really fixed. There was also constant noise: guests talking loudly and making a racket at all hours, with visibly drunk people walking around the hotel. Outside, cars played music at very high volume, and vehicles left their engines running disturbed the peace. Even after complaints, management didn’t take steps to deal with any of it. The price is like a luxury hotel, but the service felt questionable, so the value was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend it. There are much better options nearby for the same price or less. Save your money and stay somewhere else. Completely dissatisfied.

Erick greeted us warmly and was very polite, and the location is excellent, just a few steps from the historic center. Breakfast was disappointing: the cakes were hard, there wasn’t much variety, and I missed having a little corn cake. The jacuzzi isn’t heated, which was a shame because in Tiradentes’ pleasant cold weather it was impossible to use. I also asked if they could light the outdoor fireplace in the yard, among the chairs, but the receptionist on duty, who wasn’t Erick, said it was only for decoration and couldn’t be lit. I’d come back only for the location.

We had a great stay. The staff were especially attentive and helpful, always ready to lend a hand, and the inn was very well cared for. Our room was comfortable and spotless. Breakfast had a good variety and was very good, and there’s parking on site. It’s also an excellent location, just a few minutes from Tiradentes’ main attractions.
