Casa da Vovó

The staff were very helpful, the service was great, and breakfast was just right. The rooms were adequate too. The location could be better, though it didn’t end up getting in the way of our stay. I recommend it.

The breakfast stood out, with plenty of fresh, homemade choices. Everyone was attentive and ready to help. Casa e Pousada Alecrim has a welcoming, peaceful feel that’s great for resting, and the rooms were nicely decorated, comfortable, and kept clean. I had a very positive stay and will definitely come back.

Bartolomeu, the Belgian shepherd who looks after the property, became a friend. He loves a good cuddle. There’s also a market and a car rental place on the corner, and Quadrado is a five-minute drive away. We were warmly welcomed by Karine and Vladimir, who made us feel at home, and Mari was very attentive. Vladimir gave us great tips during breakfast on places to visit and how to get there, one of the best parts of the stay. After a full day at the beach, the boiler-fed shower had plenty of hot water. The queen bed had a great mattress, and the room had split air conditioning, a popcorn maker, and Wi-Fi for watching movies and relaxing. The inn has solar panels for power, which gives it a sustainable touch. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it.

We arrived in the middle of the night, and the driver was already waiting for us. The transfer was excellent; he took us right to our room and helped with our bags. Breakfast was a ten out of ten, and the place was lovely, with thoughtful touches everywhere. The owner and Sra Vilma treated us with great care. I’m very grateful.
