Pousada ESQUINA DO ATLANTICO SUL

It wasn’t worth what we paid. The rooms weren’t ready even though we’d given an approximate arrival time through the app, there was no air conditioning, and we couldn’t get a decent towel. The place looked nothing like the photos, smelled intensely musty, and was disorganized, with nothing prepared. Booking here for a family stay was a terrible, disappointing mistake. If I could give zero stars, I would.

When we arrived at 00:10 with family coming in from a trip, the rooms weren’t ready. The place felt abandoned, smelled bad, and was disorganized. I’d made the mistake of booking here, and the stay was awful and disappointing. It looked nothing like the photos.

We had booked three rooms more than seven days ahead, but none were ready when we got there around midnight. They kept us waiting an hour while they got the rooms ready, and every room had an unpleasant smell. A terrible, unpleasant experience. Don’t stay at this inn if that’s what you’re looking for.

There wasn’t anyone there when we arrived, and it looked like a private home, just like other reviews said. My reservation didn’t exist, so we had to find somewhere else to stay, though at least they refunded us. The owner even claimed we hadn’t made a reservation. My husband had booked by WhatsApp, and when we arrived she said one room was under maintenance. But she’d actually lost track of the bookings and probably rented it to someone else. Luckily, my sister-in-law lives in Brusque, so we drove a bit farther and stayed with her.
