1819 Marine Hotel

The owners were so friendly and gave us great suggestions for nearby restaurants. The hotel is clean, and upper rooms have a scenic view. You can hear the water all the time, which I found relaxing, but the windows aren't soundproof. It's a nice place, though I wouldn't suggest staying longer than two nights.

A beautiful view and big, really comfortable beds made our few relaxing days in Ubatuba even better. The location was excellent.

The meals were a real highlight, especially the paella. It was fantastic, the kind of dish that makes you want another serving. Hotel Marine also has a warm, attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere where you can feel the care in the details. The place is beautiful, cozy, and impeccably clean, with a breathtaking view that makes you forget the rush of everyday life. From the first moment, it felt special. Hotel Marine is a wonderful spot for a break with good food and lovely surroundings, and I left completely smitten.

I chose this place for its looks and ended up regretting it. I booked the best suite to celebrate my birthday, but the bathtub was filthy and the private pool was extremely dirty too. When I asked them to clean it, they said we couldn't go in if they used the cleaning product. That made no sense. The shared pool wasn't suitable for swimming either. The service made the stay even worse, especially the rude woman at reception. It was frustrating, and this was by far the worst hotel I've stayed in.
