The service was friendly, but the room smelled awful. The mattress was hard because it was plastic, and the mosquito net was dirty and smelly. The pillow stank too, like it hadn’t been washed. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The river crossing on the way to the beach is around 1.5 m deep at high tide, so it should be fine if you enjoy being out in nature. You can walk to everything you need, and the breakfast was great. We stayed for a week and absolutely loved it. The room was clean and had a working TV, air conditioning, refrigerator and mosquito net. There’s also a large pool and lounge. Eduardo, the owner, is a laid-back surfer who helped us out in several situations, and he and the whole team felt like a big family, always willing to help. The atmosphere was familiar and peaceful. For a 2 Star Hotel, it was a very nice experience. We’d come back if we can.

The suites are beautiful, the surroundings are lovely, and the staff are friendly. Several beaches are just a few minutes away by car. The internet connection was excellent too, and there’s convenient parking behind the suites, making it easy to unload the car. Highly recommended!

The beach and rainforest are right on the doorstep of this beautiful little oasis. Bali Suites was recommended to us by another traveller, and we’re so glad we took their advice. Du and Rosi are lovely, friendly and interesting. The hotel is beautifully decorated, with its love of surfing everywhere you look. And the friendly cat that seems to think it runs the place made this one of our Brazil highlights.
