The cleaning staff were the only ones who tried to help sort out the receptionist's mistake. She gave me completely wrong information about the stay, then refused to work with me when I tried to fix the problem. Making a mistake can happen, but she was rude and disrespectful, and suggested I was trying to take advantage of her error. That ruined my experience. A receptionist should at least be polite, and I didn't feel treated like a paying guest here. After 10 p.m., there was no one available to buy anything from at the inn. I was thirsty all night because the receptionist didn't answer my WhatsApp requests. I can't recommend this place.

The room was good and clean, and the location is convenient. Breakfast comes as a set combo rather than a buffet. We wasted about two hours trying to reach reception, since nobody was there and there was no mobile or WhatsApp number available. When we asked to leave at noon instead of the 11 a.m. checkout, they said we'd have to pay extra. We didn't argue and left at 10 because the extra charge wasn't worth it. They could have been more flexible, and nobody apologized for the wait.

After reading some reviews, I was a little sorry I'd booked, but the place turned out very different from what those people described. It's simple, comfortable, clean, and has a family feel. The service was wonderful, and the pool area was clean too. Breakfast was simple but tasty. I knew when booking that there was no minibar in the room. The Wi-Fi wasn't great either, but those were my only complaints. I'd recommend it and would happily come back.

The price is great for a place this accessible and close to the beach. Tenório Beach is a lovely five-minute walk away. The beach on the corner by the inn is used as a pier. I also took an app ride to Lázaro Beach. Along the avenue there's the pier, plenty of restaurants, and boat trips by lancha and escuna. I went on an escuna trip to ilha do Prumirim with Terra e Mar Ecoturismo. I only discovered after two days that the street behind the inn has a market, pharmacy, and affordable restaurant. Staff are around for check-in and the breakfast, which is made fresh, but outside those times there isn't anyone to ask in person. I didn't want to keep asking questions over WhatsApp. Checkout at 11 a.m. felt early, though it seemed to be the norm in town. I missed having a shared space with a sink and microwave. Without one, we were limited to ordering food to eat in the room or going out for every meal.
