Pousada Chalé do Beija-flor

Rodrigo and Fabiana really stood out. They made us feel at home, and that’s what I liked most. The inn itself is wonderful, with clean, tidy suites and pretty decor. My car was parked right in front of the room, and the parking felt secure. This is my place at the beach!

The rooms were very clean and orderly, with a TV, minibar, and fans, and the parking felt secure. Rodrigo and Fabiana were so good that they hardly need an introduction. The pousada is in a great spot, practically in central Ubatuba, with two good bakeries and two large markets right next door. It isn’t on the seafront, but there are several beaches you can visit. What keeps me coming back is how Fabiana and Rodrigo have treated me and my family every time. I’ve become a regular because of the welcoming feel, the simple beauty of the place, and how easy it is to get to downtown and Ubatuba’s beaches. They charge a fair price for what they offer. Sensational, spectacular!

The room was awful, full of mold. If you have allergies, you’re in trouble. The furniture was very old, and we were put in the last room, which had no ventilation at all. Some people, whether staff or owners, were talking right outside our door the whole time, which felt really disrespectful. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I’ll never come back to this pousada. Thank goodness we only spent one day in that depressing place.
