It’s very quiet and the soundproofing is good, and the central location makes it easy to get around on foot. We only needed the car for the beaches. For a bed and breakfast stay over the weekend, it does the job. Still, the bed was very uncomfortable and the bedding and towels weren’t great. The TV channels didn’t come in, even though cable TV was advertised. We only got a travel channel, and it kept freezing. We were unpleasantly surprised to find two cockroaches in the room when we arrived. They said the place had been treated for pests, which I can believe because the pousada is very clean everywhere. Breakfast was repetitive, and the rolls we were offered were hard or stale. Overall, the stay was okay.

We loved it, and we’ll stay here again when we return to Ubatuba. It’s right in the center and close to everything, so there’s no need to spend money on Uber, except for trips to the northern beaches, and it’s still worth it. The pool was wonderful, the rooms were spacious and always clean and fresh-smelling when we came back from the beach, and the simple breakfast was delicious. Every staff member was attentive. Special thanks to Elane and Paulo, who were so lovely from the moment my friends and I arrived until we left.
