Breakfast was plentiful, and the place was beautifully clean. We also got a friendly welcome and lots of local tips. Still, getting around was an issue: we were told not to go to the beach within walking distance, so you need transport, and the setting felt quite isolated. For the price, our family room was disappointing. It was small, and the children had only a hard, narrow sofa bed instead of proper beds.

The staff at pousada Maui were so thoughtful and welcoming. When my fiancé became ill with pain, they pointed us to the local hospital. Diego even offered to set aside breakfast for him to eat when he got back, since he wouldn’t have time to return in the morning. They kept asking how he was doing, and I’m very grateful for their empathy and help. Dona Edilene, the reception staff, and the woman who makes breakfast were all so attentive and kind. Thank you for everything! I’d definitely recommend this pousada. Until next time.

The breakfast was good, though it could be better, and the location worked well, with the beach within walking distance. We’d come back and recommend the place to friends. Sra Edilene, the owner, and her son Diego gave us a very warm welcome. Everywhere was clean and smelled lovely, and the night guard was attentive and helpful. One thing they could improve is having a place to hang wet clothes.

The owners, Dona Edilene and her son, were very attentive and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The inn is just 5 minutes from the beach, and there’s guest parking across the street. We also enjoyed the pool with its waterfall. Our room and bed were comfortable and very clean, with a ceiling fan, air conditioning, and an excellent shower. Breakfast was amazing, with a great variety and plenty of options. I’d happily return and recommend it to everyone.
