Itamambuca Beach is gorgeous, but I wouldn't recommend staying at this pousada. We were the only guests, and the pool and jacuzzi weren't available. Breakfast was limited, and the owner didn't even say good morning. I'd look elsewhere.

The location is the one thing this place has going for it. The pousada felt poorly cared for, with a dirty pool and hygiene and organization that fell short. There were long stretches without either hot or cold water. Breakfast was basic, and our room had no drinking water or blanket. I left disappointed.

This place seemed almost abandoned. Our room leaked, and the bathroom trash was left there, so things stayed dirty. The cakes at breakfast had mold. There weren't pillows, so my family had to rest our heads on towels and sheets. The tub and jacuzzi were leaking and unusable, and the pool was somewhat dirty with a terrible sewage smell. I wouldn't advise anyone to go. Better to stay home.

We loved our stay as a family. The pousada was peaceful and calm, close to some lovely beaches, and everything was really clean. Our room had a whirlpool tub, which was such a treat. Breakfast was simple but very tasty.
