Pousada Recanto das Palmeiras Itagua - Ubatuba

Check-out was quick, and the reservation process was smooth. The location is handy, near the center, and they accept pets, which didn't bother us at all since we like animals. The pool was pleasant and well kept. Breakfast was simple but tasty, served in an open-air, non-air-conditioned area. Parking is spacious, though most spots are uncovered and the car sits in the sun. After nearly three hours on the road, we were told the previous guest had taken too long to leave our room and we'd need to wait about 15 minutes. We understood, but ended up waiting just over sixty minutes in intense heat. The rooms were comfortable, but the weak remote batteries made adjusting the air conditioning difficult. The bathroom flush was weak, a problem with four people using it for three days, and the shower worked well. There was a small leak around the toilet where the silicone was missing. The ceiling fan wobbled a little but wasn't too noisy. I missed having outlets by the bedside tables, and one outlet had a loose connection. The bathroom was small and basic, with doors worn at the bottom that made it look poorly maintained. The double bed and one single mattress were comfortable, but the other single was too soft and would be rough for anyone with back problems. The TV channels and picture quality were very good. One jerk smoking marijuana in a poolside chair acted like he was at home 😡🤬.

The inn was charming, with a well set up facility. The room was simple but very cozy, the bedding and bath towels were spotless, and breakfast was generous. I'll definitely come back.

The whole place had a lovely connection with nature that helped us forget the rest of the world for a while, haha. We were welcomed so warmly and felt cared for. The room was spotlessly clean, breakfast was wonderful, and reception staff were attentive and helpful. I loved the pousada. Thank you for everything, we're coming back ♥️ ♥️♥️♥️

We stayed for réveillon 2026 and really liked it. The pet accommodation deserves top marks, and the reception service and breakfast were great. The room was clean and the pousada was generally good. There was a lot of dust on the terrace, though. The double bed was suitable, but the single bed should be better. It was narrow, small, and noisy whenever someone moved, and it felt too small for my tall son. I liked how they accommodated pets, and I'd stay again. I highly recommend the pousada.
