Rafael Apartamentos 800m da Praia da Maranduba

Great.

I loved the place, and it was all clean and organized. Rafael was very helpful, replied quickly, and was easy to deal with. I only missed having a sponge, detergent, and dish towel at first, though maybe that was because I booked at the last minute. The upstairs neighbors got up around 6 in the morning and made enough noise that I could hear them clearly from the suite. Still, I loved it and will definitely come back. Don’t forget bug spray, there are lots of big mosquitoes, haha!

There are plenty of beds, two bathrooms, a balcony, cable TV, three fans, a clothes-drying rack, and a floor cloth. There’s also a shower in the parking area. Everything was clean and organized. The apartment gets very hot, so we had the fans on the whole time. There weren’t many utensils, and there were no pots, containers, or clothespins. The street is unpaved and full of potholes, and it floods quite a bit when it rains. Rain also soaks the whole outdoor area and comes into the bedroom because the glass door isn’t sealed. There’s a lot of brush on the neighboring lot, and on two nights we saw a possum that even tried to get into the apartment. Bring tablecloths for meals, since none are provided.

The apartment was cozy and well cared for, so my review is still positive. There’s no air conditioning in any of the apartments, though, and I’d suggest adding a generator for emergencies. The power went out in the early morning, and it got so hot that nobody could sleep. Hello Rafael, I don’t think you were mistaken, you couldn’t find my booking because my cousin rented it. We stayed in the last apartment on the left on the ground floor. My comments were suggestions for improvements, not a negative review.
