Suites Liberdade Street 1057

A week before the trip, I contacted them to say I'd arrive around 2 a.m. When I got there, nobody was available to check me in. I called, but no one answered, and my WhatsApp message never showed as delivered, only sent. At 9 in the morning they messaged to say I hadn't told them my arrival time. When I showed them our earlier conversation, they tried to blame me for giving them too much notice, lol. In the end, I found a 24-hour inn that could take us at 4 a.m. My mother was with me, and she has limitations because of a health problem.

I used to be wary of hostels, but this place changed my mind. It's cozy and well finished, and everything worked properly. The Wi-Fi wasn't the fastest, but it was enough. The small pool is more like a big tub, though still cozy. Outside there's a hammock, a large table, and even a punching bag, haha. The suites are comfortable and well insulated, so it's hard to hear what's going on in the next one. The kitchen has a fridge, cupboard, stove, and microwave, and there's parking for several cars. The only downsides were the driveway entrance, which can scrape low cars, and the blankets. They're very thin and too small for a couple, so bring your own. Still, I highly recommend it.

I stayed in Suíte liberdade from 07/01/2023 to 16/01/2023, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. It’s a lovely, comfortable place in a good location. Pedro,João, Talita and Dona Olívia were incredibly generous hosts. A big hug to all of them!

It’s far from the beach, and you’re basically on your own. There’s no one at the inn, so the only way to reach someone responsible is by WhatsApp. There’s no breakfast, pigeons walk around in the ceiling above the room, and the parking area is dark. There was one remote on the living room desk, and another guest took it, leaving us unable to get out. A really bad experience.
