Loft Felicidade

Urubici already means a lot to me, and the care we received made this stay especially memorable. I was there with my father, who has limited mobility, and we were warmly welcomed into a house set up for accessibility. It had ramps, a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, and bathroom adaptations, which are hard to find. This was my second stay in Urubici with Tassiana, and she's won my heart for good.

The staff were attentive, and the bathtub was excellent, though the bathroom itself felt cramped. The chalet was cozy, but a few details fell short: we expected fresh bed and bath linen, only to find there was an extra charge. The barbecue seemed to be there for show, since it wasn't really possible to grill meat on it.

This was my second stay here, and it's a peaceful, comfortable place with easy access close to town. There's a lake where you can even fish from the living room window, in pajamas, at night or in the rain. With the suite balcony door open, the sound of the stream beside the road is relaxing, and the scenery is lovely. They even made a fire for roasting marshmallows. Tassiana is always attentive and ready to help.

Don't expect to find anyone in charge on site, because there won't be. It feels more like a group of chalets than a single property, with no reception or staff around, and the different chalets seem to have different owners or managers. The one I stayed in was called Quero-Quero, right by the lake, and the setting was fantastic. In hot weather, though, it gets very warm: only the bedrooms have air conditioning, while the sun beats on the living room all day. The kitchen is a bit dark, and the chalet's wooden parts creak a lot when people move around. The playground, small court, and other shared spaces need maintenance.
