Sitio Anjo Gabriel

Those three days at the Sítio left us feeling refreshed. The hosts were warm and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. We slept better than we ever have anywhere. We loved it and would absolutely recommend it!!!!

The countryside setting is a little way from town, so it’s best to plan to spend time enjoying the chalet itself. We’d definitely recommend that. My husband and I felt right at home thanks to Selma and her family, who welcomed us so warmly. The place is simple but had everything we needed, and the bedroom balconies and wood-burning stove made it feel especially cozy, with nature and country life all around. We named the little sheep wandering around the property “Molly.” Opening the door to see her against that beautiful landscape was surreal. Breakfast wasn’t included with our stay, but Selma surprised us with some cold cuts and wonderful corn bread 😍🙏🏻

The owners were so friendly, kind, and helpful that they made us feel at home. At night, the fire pit is perfect for a little moonlit gathering, roasting marshmallows, or just sitting by the warmth and chatting. The Sítio is a natural sanctuary, with lovely views of the mountains and valley. The chalet is nicely finished and comfortable, and its wood stove keeps it warm. I’d recommend Sítio Anjo Gabriel to both experienced off-roaders and people hoping to get into that kind of adventure.

The hosts are fantastic people, and the beautiful place is great for getting some rest.
