The cats were a lovely surprise, wandering around and sunning themselves in the yard. I stayed in the "Praia Secreta" room, with a nice window, comfortable beds, a fan, and spotless cleaning. The host was so friendly and helped me figure out my trip, with useful tips and advice. There’s a bar at the hostel at night, which made things feel relaxed and youthful. I could hear the music and conversations, but they didn’t interfere with my rest, and everyone was respectful. It’s close to Praia da Costa, grocery stores, banks, and bakeries, with easy bus access to other beaches in Vila Velha and near the end of the bridge to Vitória. I loved my stay and would definitely come back 🌹

I ate two pieces of the meat and gave up. The five pieces I got were poor quality, and there was no side dish. When I asked about it, the attendant said I had to pay for one, even though she’d first said it would come free as compensation for getting my order wrong. My friend had to go find something for me to eat the meat with, since the attendant left without even giving me a toothpick. This all started when I ordered a little barbecue snack ten minutes before the kitchen closed, after the attendant had come over to ask if we wanted anything. She wrote down the wrong order, then said the grill was already out. I turned down the food they’d already made, and she reluctantly agreed to relight the grill for what I’d asked for. The service was awful, with such a bad attitude. I’m never going back.
