Sentir-se em Casa! Ap Privativo 10min da praia de Itaparica

The neighborhood was good, with a supermarket, pharmacy, and everything close by. I stayed in AP 01 from December 24 to 26. It was simple but well organized, and everything was just right. I had a great stay and would definitely come back. The host deserves congratulations.

I booked and paid for five days, then extended my stay and paid for that too. There was a sudden water outage on my second-to-last day, but it was fixed right away, so that seemed fine. After checking out and leaving, I was surprised to get a message three days later saying the key wasn’t there and I had to pay a fee for it, plus 100 for cleaning. We left everything in perfect condition, even with the limited water. I thought this was disrespectful and dishonest, so I don’t recommend the place. It exceeded some of my expectations at first, but ended up being disappointing.

We booked through Booking a furnished private apartment at rua Tiradentes n: 180, choosing from listings for units 2 through 7 after looking at several photos. When my girlfriend and I arrived, a man met us on the sidewalk. He seemed unfriendly, was shirtless, and had a card machine in his hands. He told us the place was actually another building on the same street, at n: 08, and took us to apto 09. That apartment wasn’t shown on any app, zap, or Booking listing, and there were no photos of it. As soon as we opened the door, there was an unbearable smell, like the place hadn’t been aired out for months. We were exhausted from the trip, but had to do a heavy cleaning ourselves, using Lysoform spray and bleach to get rid of it. The apartment was stuffy, and the kitchen window opened onto a shared corridor, so there was no privacy. With so little ventilation, we couldn’t cook there without the smell lingering. The next day I told the owner I was unhappy with the accommodation. She said the only thing she could do was refund 50% of what we paid. That wasn’t workable for me because it was just before New Year’s Eve and Vila Velha, ES, was packed. We stayed for the whole booking, but felt cheated and let down. We left a comfortable home to spend New Year’s in an unhealthy place. I hope Booking takes some kind of action. We use the platform often and consider it a serious company, and from what I saw, this wasn’t the first time something like this had happened. I’m available to answer questions or provide more details.
