A lovely old house right in central Vitoria, and a hostel that gets the balance right. It’s a place for quiet conversation and a comfortable night’s sleep, not for people looking to party drunk. There are museums and plenty of artistic spots nearby. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in, and an unexplored gem. Thanks, highly recommended.

The hostel has a great atmosphere, and the staff are amazing. I told them about the problems and they started taking steps to fix them. They seemed very happy to address things for their guests, and I’d stay again without hesitation. It’s very cheap, so you do get what you pay for. Some bathrooms weren’t working, there was a bad smell at reception, and the windows had no blackout curtains. The location, though, is excellent.

The staff made us feel welcome, and the bathrooms were clean. It’s close to some great historical places and Pokestops. The house is apparently from the 1920s, really beautiful and cozy.

I usually love hostels and I’m not fussy, but this was my worst experience. The rooms weren’t clean, and the people weren’t nice. There wasn’t even that fun hostel vibe of young people relaxing and hanging out together. I wouldn’t recommend it. The insulting response to my review was completely in keeping with the establishment.

The location and service were nice. I had such a good time here, and it even inspired me to be more adventurous in Brazil. I’m definitely coming back.
