Praia do Canto Apart Hotel

The room’s view and the location were the only real highlights. The room was okay for cleanliness and comfort, but many things were broken or in poor shape. Although it’s presented as an 'apart hotel', it felt more like a failed hotel that hadn’t been maintained, with rooms rented through booking platforms. The service was the biggest problem. I asked in advance and paid ISS and municipal taxes through the platform, but only afterward was I told the property doesn’t issue invoices. They offered a receipt instead, which I’m still waiting for months later. I stayed because I had no other options in the city, but I definitely wouldn’t return. Other travelers should be aware.

I’d booked in advance, but the room I was given was dirty, messy, and clearly still used by another guest. The shift manager took a long time to help, and I had to wait about 30 minutes before being moved to another room. I expected more care and quicker service from a place like this. It was disappointing, and the cleanliness and customer service need more attention.

A clean place with clean towels and bedding, and the staff were courteous and helpful. It works well for a short stay, though it needs some maintenance. There was no soap dish or place for shampoo, so I had to put it on the floor. The old wastebasket was rusty, and its loose lid was broken.

We were poorly welcomed by the receptionist, who was also rude when we checked out. Check-in was listed as 2 p.m., but when we arrived she said no rooms were ready. Asked how long we’d have to wait, we were told check-in was “from” 2 p.m., with no set time to enter the room we’d already paid for. The housekeeping was lacking too, there wasn’t even toilet paper. I don’t recommend it.
