Paradise Creek Cottages

The beautiful surroundings couldn’t make up for how inconvenient the location felt. The cottages were far from major attractions, and getting around meant paying for expensive transportation. I had high hopes for Paradise Creek Cottages in the Bahamas, but the place was in poor shape. The landscaping was overgrown, and the cottages looked as if they hadn’t been updated in years. Inside, the furnishings were old and uncomfortable, there was dust on surfaces, and the linens didn’t feel fresh. The air conditioning barely worked, so the room was humid and stuffy and I couldn’t relax or sleep well. The staff didn’t seem interested or very helpful when I raised the cottage problems. Even simple requests seemed like a bother, and I didn’t feel welcomed. I was very disappointed. This wasn’t the tropical escape I’d hoped for, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, or good service in the Bahamas.
