I came across this again today, almost 10 years after I visited Carla in 2016, back when Google let anyone add a place. I'm thrilled to see Carla’s cottage finally getting the recognition it deserves. Carla was the kind of host anyone would hope for. She picked me up when I arrived, shared all her island tips, and genuinely looked after me, especially after I was dropped off by an *interesting* group of people lol. Just regular tourist stuff. The place is super cute, close enough to locals to feel safe and comfortable, but tucked away enough for privacy. Carla’s family cared about making my stay good without pushing or imposing on me. It felt just right. You're right in the middle of a local town, and you can feel that. If you want a 5* luxury hotel experience, this isn't it. But if you want to get to know the native culture and see things from a Bahamian perspective, don't think twice. Thank you, Carla. In the middle of all my chaos, you brought me serenity. Thanks to you, the Bahamas is one of my top places. ♥️

We spent four days at Carla's Cottage in Feb of 2020, on our first trip to Nassau, and we picked a winner. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and the place was close to the bus line. Carla made us feel right at home, only better. The cottage was pretty and comfortable, with a lovely yard and a beach-themed room. We had everything we needed. If we get back to Nassau, we know exactly where to stay. We highly recommend Carla's Cottage! 💜💜

Carla's island hospitality is a big reason I'll be back. It was my first time out of the country, and she took such good care of me and my friend, driving us wherever we needed to go and pointing out great local spots. The rooms were perfect, and the place was close to the beach and Atlantis. Carla is amazing, and I'll stay there every time I'm in the Bahamas.

Carla's cottage was peaceful, clean, and quiet. I had the best sleep I've had in two years, just what the Doctor ordered. Carla was a friendly, very good host and made sure I was comfortable and content. I stayed seven days and six nights and enjoyed every one of them. The hospitality and place were great. I'm originally from Nassau,Bahamas, but it's been several years since I was there. Carla's Cottage will always be my home away from home. The friendly, courteous service was more than I could have asked for. Her Cottages have the amenities you need, and the prices are very reasonable. I'd recommend Carla's Cottage to everyone, and it'll be my number one place to stay in Nassau,Bahamas. Thanks for being such a fabulous hostess, see you in a few weeks.
