Orange Cottage - At Orange Hill

We stayed one night at Orange Hill before our Cat Ppalu liveaboard trip. The room was a little dated, but the bed was very comfortable, the water pressure and temperature were great, and there was a smart TV with some channels. The pool was just steps away and looked clean, though we didn't use it. The on-site restaurant serves home-cooked meals made with care. I had soup and ribs for dinner, both very good. Breakfast included eggs, French toast, omelettes, and the usual items. Dinner and breakfast were reasonably priced for the serving sizes. They use an honor system for beer and soft drinks, and it worked well. Coffee is free. I'd definitely recommend Orange Hill if you're after a budget-friendly place.

A nice spot to chill: quiet and relaxing, with a friendly international crowd, often young. The beach is nice, the food is great, and it's on the jitney route. It felt safe and was close to the airport. Rooms are simple but spacious, with a bit of an upscale youth-hostel feel.

My partner and I spent a long weekend here, and it felt like all our stress melted away. Sandy, the kitty hostess, was gracious and welcoming every day. We especially loved the dinner menu!

I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. My unit was very clean and had all the amenities I needed, plus a lovely oceanfront view. The meals and wine were very well priced. They also went above and beyond to get my phone back to me after I'd already left for the airport. Great customer service. If you're heading downtown and want to avoid taxi fare, the bus or van is a convenient option, with a stop right outside the Inn.
