Da Pink and White Palace

This isn't a resort, but it's a nice, quiet little hideaway in a very well-positioned part of the island. Margaritaville is within walking distance, as is the fish fry food area, where you really need to try one of the popular restaurants. The owners are hands-on and take care of guests personally. They also try to help visitors avoid high taxi charges and other tourist traps that drain your money. The Bahamas is an expensive place for rooms and lodging, and the people at the Pink and White Palace understand that some visitors are on a budget and want to enjoy the island without spending it all on a room. They're clearly thinking of budget-conscious guests. As women, we felt safe. I could walk alone knowing police stations were nearby, and it felt like the community valued tourists. Nobody was pushy. If you're after a clean, safe, comfortable, accommodating place that's not fancy but budget-friendly, I highly recommend it for a trip to the islands.

The place is beautiful and peaceful, with a lovely view, and it felt very safe compared with the bad safety reviews I'd read about other hotels. Mint welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived and made us feel valued and at home. It's close to the market, food hubs, small stores, and the beach, yet the surroundings stay quiet and relaxing. The room had the appliances we needed, plus a hot and cold shower. Free shampoo and soap were provided and smelled nice. Good value for money, with a great atmosphere that made it easy to feel at ease. Highly recommended!

Junakoo beach and downtown are both within walking distance. The hosts were so accommodating and offered suggestions for our stay. I loved our time at Da Pink Bahamas White Palace 💗✨. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, and made everything feel easy right from the start. You can tell they care about the guests and the place. It was very clean, like really clean 😭.
