The See Sea cottage was a great choice for my twin sister and me. We each had our own bedroom, bathroom, and balcony, plus a clean, well-equipped kitchen, spacious living room, little refreshing pool, beach towels, grill, and picnic table. One bedroom looked out to the sea, the other to the garden. We loved having our own private, homey space while still being close to the resort’s clear Infinity pool, restaurant, and beach. Of all the beaches we visited, La Boug's private stretch was our favorite, with soft pink sand, turquoise water, and such a peaceful feel. We were celebrating a big birthday and our retirements, so we hoped the trip would feel special. From the early planning with Teres and Sonam, despite all our date changes right up to the final day, everything felt warm, personal, and professionally handled. They clearly wanted us to have a memorable time on Eleuthera. On arrival, we got a delicious chilled rum and citrus drink, and that relaxed welcome carried through the week. La Boug's central location made it easy to explore both ends of the island, visit beaches and sights, look for souvenirs in Governor Harbor, and shop at Island Farm, only about ten minutes away. We only ate at the restaurant once, on arrival night. The menu leaned a bit too heavily toward meat for us, and we’d have liked more seafood options, but our seafood pasta and grilled grouper with vegetables were excellent. The crashing waves made a lovely backdrop for the first night of our vacation.
