Namgay Dendup, the GM, and his staff made sure we were comfortable and looked after us so warmly during our three nights here. It was an awesome place to stay. We left with memories from all over Bhutan that we'll keep for a lifetime. Thanks, Aja Hotel and Resorts, for such an enjoyable trip.

The people here are warm and simple, and the place feels like a hidden gem. Namgya, the manager, is one of the most honest and spiritual people you'll meet in Bhutan. Ask him anything about Bhutan, including what to do and prices. He even took us to Tiger Hill and dropped us at the airport, going out of his way to make our stay memorable. I wish we'd stayed longer, and we'll definitely come back.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially Namgay. They made us feel more like visiting royalty than guests. We stayed in September 2023 and loved the experience. Set among rice fields in the gentle hills near Paro, the resort is beautiful and peaceful. Our spacious standard room was well appointed, with mountain and Tiger's Nest monastery views from both the windows and balcony. The beds were comfortable, and the modern ensuite bathroom worked perfectly.

We were there for three nights, on 23/09, 24/09 and 25/09/2024. The heater didn't work and the drain was clogged, with no action taken before our last day. Other tourists staying then were making the same complaints, but nothing was remedied. The food was so-so. It was a hopeless resort, especially as three nights is the maximum for a Bhutan tour.
