The team were amazing, from Reception through to the Restaurant, and I really want to call that out. The property is stunning, with a high level of comfort and design. A once-in-a-lifetime place to experience.

Set among peaceful landscapes, Zhiwa Ling Heritage brings together traditional Bhutanese architecture and modern comfort. The hotel has spacious rooms, fine dining, a spa, and warm Bhutanese hospitality. It makes for a serene, memorable stay in Paro, blending culture, comfort, and natural beauty.

We loved nearly everything about this gorgeous hotel and its setting. Our only issue was noisy people in the room above, who kept us awake for half the night. Since it was off-season and the hotel was almost empty, management could have placed guests farther apart. There was plenty of room.

My wife and I have traveled to many countries and stayed in amazing places, but this heritage hotel may be the most incredible accommodation we'll ever experience. Its peaceful setting among the Paro hills, with a view of Tigers Nest, is wonderful. The food, comfortable and decadent rooms, and lovely staff all stood out. There are also wellbeing facilities and a 400-year-old temple built into the property. Above all, the whole setup is very environmentally sustainable. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a tranquil place to take in the happiness Bhutan has to offer.
