Right in the heart of Paro, with good rooms and service. The food is freshly prepared, and the prices are budget friendly.

Hotel Always Welcome Paro didn't feel welcoming to us. The rooms were basic, needed updating, and could have been cleaner. Service was inconsistent, and we had unreliable electricity throughout our stay. There is no lift, and the food was much too spicy for us. The location is handy for exploring Paro, but the overall stay fell short of what we expected in terms of comfort. The staff went out of their way to keep us comfortable, and the food was delicious with a huge range of choices. Be sure to try the Indian food. Our time at this lodge was amazing, with spacious, spotless rooms and lovely décor.

The hotel is close to several shops, cafes and a spa. From the balcony, we could see the mountains, and at night there was a view of Paro Zong. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the spacious, well-equipped room and bathroom, along with the good food and service. There is no elevator, which could be difficult for older guests or anyone with an ailment.
