Everything was very good, from the staff and rooms to the amenities and food. The dishes were super delicious, and even with just the two of us staying there, the service never fell short. Definitely recommend.

The food was decent, if not amazing, and there were fewer options than at some other hotels. The rooms, especially the bathroom, were probably the best of the mid-range hotels we stayed in around Bhutan. We'd read earlier reviews mentioning rude staff and bad experiences, so we were pleasantly surprised: everyone we met was polite and attentive.

The view was amazing, the food was good, and the room was huge. We were the only guests at the whole resort in the off season, and they gave us a free upgrade to a VIP suite.

The food at both breakfast and dinner was delicious, and staff were always nearby to serve and top things up. The rooms are spacious and laid out well, so I thought we got good value. Hot water can take a while to come through while the pipes refill, something you have to accept. My wife was very happy with the full-body massage at the spa. Don't be put off by the negative posts about this place.

The view across Punakha valley is magnificent, and the location is a major plus. We enjoyed the lovely food and found the staff courteous and cooperative. Reaching the rooms may be difficult for older guests or anyone who is physically unwell, though management may be able to address that.
