We were very much at home with the warm restaurant staff, and enjoyed the Bhutanese dishes, especially the datshi. Breakfast was nice too, although there were some forecasting issues and we had to wait a bit. The hotel is very close to the town center, which was handy. The rooms felt a little small for two adults and two children, and at times the staff were lax. The lift sensors weren’t working, which was one of the irritants. Still, it was a really good place for our first stay on our first trip to Bhutan.

Right in the heart of Thimpu, which made for a pleasant stay. The room had a great view and was clean and cozy, though the standard room felt a bit cramped. The staff were polite and ready to help with a smile. Food could be better.

The heated beds were a real blessing, and there was plenty of hot water without waiting for it to heat back up. It’s right in the center of Thimphu, with good restaurants and shops just a minute away. The staff were warm, friendly, and courteous, and the authentic Bhutanese food was very good. Rooms at the back and on the left have a superb view.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very close to the city center, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were great. The food was simple and very good.
