The boardroom lights were so dim that it felt more like a bedroom than a meeting room, though the room itself was okay. The reception could use a proper cleaning because it was dusty. Still, it’s a serene place with vintage furniture and a nice feel throughout. The guy at reception was friendly and helped us with a smile, even though I’ve forgotten his name. With the dust taken care of, this could be an amazing place.

The pool looks perfect for the hotter months, and the rooms have air conditioning too. They’re decorated in a traditional, tasteful way. The whole boutique hotel looks lovely, and the staff are really friendly. I’m looking forward to coming back.

There’s safe parking, and it’s centrally placed for embassies, schools, and shops. The rooms are roomy, the beds comfortable, and the garden and pool area are lovely. A real gem.

I liked the Okavango room at the back, it was quiet and private, and the water pressure was good. The staff were helpful and nice, and the price is very reasonable. It feels quaint and homey, good for a few days or a quiet short getaway. Just not a business class hotel like the bigger brands.
