My biggest disappointment was what happened afterward. The manager expressed regret and said he’d consider compensating us for the inconvenience, but since then he’s gone silent. My guests wanted a genuine apology and some evidence of accountability. I booked six rooms for my immediate and extended family for two days. All six were in fair condition, with minor tap problems; some had no soap. Two rooms had no hot water. We reported it on the first day and were told it would be fixed, so we used cold showers. On the second evening, we were told the geyser for those rooms was tripping the electricity, so it couldn’t be switched on. We had another cold shower, and there was nobody at reception on the last morning to complain to. I called the manager to express our disappointment.

I needed somewhere for one night, but I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. There was no soap or shower gel in the morning. They gave me conditioner and lotion, I guess I was meant to use the conditioner as shower gel 😂😂🙌🏽 The TV didn’t work because, apparently, the subscription was late. There were cobwebs and big spiders, so I asked for spray, but it took forever to arrive 😅.

I had a terrible stay. The shower mixer didn’t work properly and the water only came out in drops. The place wasn’t clean, and the staff weren’t very friendly 😞. I moved out after just one night without getting a proper shower 🚿😢😭.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly, but they didn’t seem very professional in hospitality. For a basic place to stay, yes. For somewhere relaxing, no. There was only one DSTV decoder, so everyone had to watch the same channel. No spare room key was available, so they kept the key and we didn’t get one. There was no soap, and I had to hunt for the TV and AC remotes. The toilet wasn’t clean, and the seat hinges had grime. On arrival, we had to fill out forms that even asked for our father’s name. The house was badly built.

Very clean, with kind staff and parking. The price was very reasonable, and it had all the facilities. The best guest house!
