The owners even went out of their way to help us with our luggage problem, which they really didn’t have to do. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Our room was comfortable, spotless and had what we needed for a relaxing stay. Discovery Bed and Breakfast is clearly well maintained and good value. We had a fantastic stay in Botswana and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

The dinner was tasty, generous and authentic, with a family feel because all the guests sit together at one long table. Breakfast was nice too. The staff were welcoming, and the garden is beautiful. It’s close to Maun but far enough away to feel like your vacation has begun.

We stayed here twice during our self-drive trip in Botswana and loved this peaceful oasis in Maun. The owners are delightful, friendly hosts who often stop for a chat. Local staff were just as friendly and pointed out birds and bush babies in the lush gardens. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we loved staying in an authentic rondavel. We highly recommend it, you’ll feel at home.

We didn’t expect such a warm welcome, Italian cappuccino, lovely people and a delicious meal. Sitting around the fireplace was part of our stay at the Discovery B&B in Maun, and the team took great care of us. Highly recommended.

A peaceful little oasis in Maun, run by a Dutch couple. The staff are very friendly, the food is good, and there are nice chalets and outdoor seating areas.
