The owner was pleasant and accommodating. These are housekeeping units with only enough equipment to make dinner, and the bedding and furniture are fairly basic, so it doesn’t feel as luxurious as advertised. The pool was okay for a swim but needs some maintenance, and the grounds could do with a cleanup of the clutter. Watch out for the roads in Maun, too. Large water-filled potholes can be deep, so don’t drive into them.
There was no electricity or water, and no backup plan. Mosquitoes were everywhere, with no mosquito net. I waited 40 minutes to get into the property because nobody was there. While waiting, I booked a tour online at the last minute and gave them this address. Then I was told the power was out and should return in a couple of hours, but it never did. The owner offered to send me to another place, but I couldn’t contact the tour company to tell them I’d changed properties. Only after midnight did I find out the owner had been contacted for directions so they could pick me up. She hadn’t told me earlier. Then she demanded the full room price despite there being no electricity or water. Be careful with this place and the owner.
Comfortable and well equipped, with everything you need for a couple of nights. Everything was good, and the price was reasonable.
Service really is number one here. The people will help you as much as they can and don’t give up.
