Akva Minsk Hotel

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and we really enjoyed the food at the restaurant. The reception staff were very friendly, too. We spent the weekend at Aqua-Minsk Hotel, and it was a wonderful stay. Thank you!

The bed was so uncomfortable that I had to add a blanket to sleep well. Cleanliness was poor throughout the room, with dust, dirt, and even spiders, and the bathroom's hygiene was questionable too. For around 15,000 rubles, what the hotel offers felt worth no more than 3,000. The attractive photos on the website had set my expectations high, but the reality was shocking. The water park visit came with the stay, but it looked as if it hadn’t been updated for a very long time, perhaps since a renovation at least twenty years ago. Mold and dirt were visible all over, giving the place an unpleasant, unsanitary feel. The comfort and hygiene were nowhere near what I’d expect for the price of this dubious experience.

The room itself was great, but the service felt very unhelpful. There were three adults in our suite, yet we got only one key. When we asked for another, we were told that wasn’t allowed. The iron was kept in the basement, so going to use it meant coordinating with everyone, taking clothes downstairs, and carefully getting back with the single key. We also asked to check out at 12:30 instead of noon because we wouldn’t have enough time to pack. They said staying later would cost extra. They don’t seem customer-oriented.

Breakfast was included, with a tasty mix of porridge, potatoes, sausages, omelets, drinks, yogurt, cheese, pancakes, desserts, and more. The staff were welcoming and polite, and the grounds were lovely. We stayed two nights, and our room was clean and cozy, with a bed, table, lamps, and a small fridge. It was cleaned during our stay and the towels were changed. They also provided a toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo, slippers, and clean bottled water. Free aqua zone access came with the price, so we splashed around from morning to evening. We all loved it. Thank you, we’ll come back!
