Hampton By Hilton Minsk City Centre

Being so close to the train station was a real plus, and we enjoyed our stay. A couple of things could have been better: I only found out there was no hair conditioner when I was already in the shower, and some breakfast dishes were cold because there’s no way to keep them warm. We also didn’t get a nice view from the window.

The breakfast is simple but good quality, with a decent range. Our room was spacious and cleaned every day. It’s one of the best places to stay in Minsk, and seemed to follow international requirements during the pandemic. I’d recommend it for a short visit and would stay again next time I’m back in Minsk.

A good budget hotel, with generally solid service in keeping with the Hilton chain. The restaurant is a strong point: service is good, and both the menu and food quality are above average, around 4 out of 5. Breakfast is also decent quality, though only a little more than frugal. The bar is tiny, but at least there is one. Oddly, there’s no room service; you can order for pickup, then carry the tray back to your room.

The price is high, about the same as the four or five star hotels I’ve stayed in, maybe because it’s Hilton. Still, I found it a good place to stay efficiently. It’s modern, though the colors give it a bit of a 70s or 80s feel. The air in the room was great, which matters to me, and I slept well and woke up refreshed. Breakfast was perfect for my bodybuilding and fitness needs: oatmeal, boiled eggs, nuts, skimmed milk, and orange juice. A champion’s breakfast if you want to stay fit and energetic. There’s a small fitness room for improvised workouts, and X-Fit Gym, the best in Minsk, is a short walk away. The lobby has a small business center where you can work, as well as meeting rooms.
