We had a wonderfully relaxing break from everyday life at Robinson Hotel and Spa. It's a peaceful spa hotel out in the countryside, about 20 minutes from Minsk city center. The entrance and decor look dated, but that didn't spoil the stay. Rooms were clean, and daily service was reliable. Staff were friendly and flexible about schedule changes. The spa has massage, wraps, scrubs, and aesthetic services. The gym and hot and cold areas are fully equipped, including Turkish, Russian, and western steam rooms, saunas, hot and cold soak tubs, and both indoor and outdoor pools. The indoor pool is for laps, while the outdoor one is better for relaxing. Food is served in the bar during limited hours, while the main restaurant has a full menu and also draws people who aren't staying at the hotel. The food was hit and miss: the salmon terrine and shrimp app weren't good, but the halibut was excellent. Choose carefully and ask the waitress for advice.

A lovely escape from busy Minsk, whether you're there as a couple or with family for a short break. Each room has gorgeous views of the lake and forest, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast has lots of variety and high quality food, and the staff are friendly. I really enjoyed the Aqua spa. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because hotel guests can only use the spa area from 7:30 am to 11am. At any hotel, especially a 4*, I usually expect guests to have no time limit for the pool, saunas, and jacuzzi, since they're part of the hotel amenities.

The restaurant has boat access right to it, and secure parking is a plus. It's a good venue for an anniversary or wedding, with a lawn outside, plus a trampoline and inflatable castle for kids. The staff are friendly and professional, and the food menu is quite good with nice presentation.

The lakefront spot is very nice, and the outside terrace looks out over the water. It's quite large, so it could get noisy at busy times. The food is okay and there's a rich menu, but service isn't especially quick, so be patient. You'll need help from a local if you don't speak Russian here.

The salad was a real highlight, and the rest of the food was better than I expected for Belarus. Even on a cold November afternoon, we had a really enjoyable meal. The service was attentive too. 😀👍
