Tilt-TA-Dock Resort Belize

We liked this place so much we extended our stay. The property is gorgeous, and they have bicycles and kayaks you can borrow on site. The owners and staff were welcoming and really friendly. A+.

The rooms were just as advertised, the owners were great, and the swimming pool was very nice. There’s no food service on site, so it’s good that Corozal has adequate places to eat. The town itself isn’t pretty. For exploring Mayan ruins in northern Belize, though, it’s a great location, and I’d strongly recommend it for this area.

Corozal bay is an estuarine system and shallow, but we still saw a variety of fish. The resort itself is peaceful and nice. The street isn’t paved, though cars can still manage it. The house is tiny, but we had everything we needed. I loved the pier and kayaking there.

Tilt-a-dock is a laid back, relaxing spot for adults, with seclusion and breathtaking views. Each private cabana has a full bathroom and kitchen, a queen size bed, and a closet big enough for clothes, luggage, and an extra blanket. They provide five gallons of drinking and cooking water, and you can use the kayaks and bikes for free. Laundry service costs a small fee. You can walk to the yummy restaurant, Tortuga, and bike to stores, markets, and the butcher shop.
