We were picked up at the airport and brought straight here for a night before continuing to Coco Plum Caye. The staff were wonderful. We got to watch a movie under the stars with them and their families, with lots of great food and drinks. Our room was cozy and spacious enough. The AC worked perfectly, the water was hot with great pressure, and the sunrise beginning at 5:55am was stunning.

I liked having a private patio and beachside lounge areas, and the staff were kind, helpful and easy to talk to. The rooms are clean, simple and calming. The restaurant food wasn’t great, the grilled fish and veggies were bland, but that gave me a reason to get out and explore. The cocktails were good, though.

Down by the airport at the edge of town, this is a very nice place. The rooms are pleasant, the staff are friendly, and the food portions are so generous I couldn’t finish my plate.

They’re seriously short-staffed at the restaurant. Unless you’re the only one there, expect to wait at least 2 hours for even a simple meal.
