The view over the water and park was lovely, especially with the Dangriga sign painted by local artist Crystal Lopez. Our double room had plenty of space, clean surroundings, and comfortable beds. It felt like a charming guest house, with fruit, tea, and good coffee always on hand, plus a kitchenette. The owner-manager (Jalisa?) was wonderfully hospitable and gave us great suggestions. Thanks! We were able to borrow three new bikes to explore the area, and the landlady was a huge help arranging transport to our next stop, Birdview Lodge.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was really clean. I appreciated the room upgrade and the thoughtful amenities, including complimentary water, a refrigerator, and a coffee maker.

Restaurants, including Islands, were nearby, and the location was central. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There’s also a park close by with the Dangriga sign, a nice spot for pictures.

The staff were incredibly helpful, and Jalisa really embodies hospitality. My room was quiet, clean, spacious, and very comfortable, so I’m looking forward to visiting again. I loved the beach and water views, and the wraparound lobby windows were a lovely place to catch the sunrise. Downtown and restaurants are just two blocks away. Wine tasting, the culture center, and a drum maker are within walking distance, and you can catch a bus to Hopkins, Placencia, the waterfalls on the way to Belmoan and San Ignacio, or Belize City.
