The cabins are lovely, small, and clean, with plenty of amenities, right by a beautiful beach. It’s an excellent spot, with great food just a short walk away. The locals are very friendly.

Loved Hopkins. We had a quiet cabin with a private beach. The owner brought out seat cushions and a hammock, and gave us good tips on local places to eat. The cabin was clean and had A/C, filtered water, and a fridge.

We had a relaxing six-night stay at Sandpiper Beach Cabanas, with really hospitable hosts. J&Js Cool Spot is an easy walk, as are the Village Store and other places in the North End of Hopkins.

That ocean breeze was such a gift, and the cabins are delightful in a perfect location. I love staying somewhere local, and was even more delighted to realize I’d stayed with Juanita 20 years ago at her other place. We bought fruit and enjoyed having a kitchen. Even the stray beach dogs were charming and healthy. We befriended a couple, feeding them from a bowl we found in the tide. My heart is with all of you down there. Good luck and stay safe.

I’ve carried the memory of this little paradise with me since staying here just as the world started shutting down in March 2020. Open the room door and your toes are in the sand. It’s not a big luxury hotel, and that simplicity and the beauty of nature are a reminder that what you need is right there. The owner welcomed us so warmly and made us feel like family. I hope I can come back soon.
