Seiri del Mar

My extended family, friends, and I had a wonderful week at Sieri Del Mar resort. My sister and brother-in-law’s wedding there was beautiful, and the team did an amazing job making all the wedding events accommodating. The resort itself is lovely and relaxing, and we enjoyed dining at Embers restaurant. Hotel and restaurant staff were kind, friendly, professional, and very accommodating. Thanks to hotel manager Benjamin and the whole team for making it such a memorable stay. We’ll return on our next Belize vacation.

I just attended the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever seen, and Benjamin and the staff were gracious throughout. The rooms were very clean and the views were beautiful. Benjamin and his team outdid the paid wedding planner, who probably cost twice as much. If you’re having a wedding here, I’d ask Benjamin to help. I’d definitely recommend it.

We loved cooking in the kitchen, especially since produce costs less here than in or near Belize City. We brought some food and snacks too, and having a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer made beach towels, swimsuits, and dishes easy to deal with. Bicycles, kayaks, and paddleboards are available. There’s a restaurant within walking distance, and Hopkins is a lovely town to visit. The grounds are well kept and the place feels secure. Seiri means heaven in Garifuna, and it really did feel heavenly. Sand flies and a few small inconveniences kept me from giving five stars, including the hot tub not working. I’d love to come back. It seems fun for big families or groups of friends. I love this place!

The property was immaculate and welcoming when we came to Seiri Del Mar for a friend’s wedding. Staff hospitality stood out most, they went above and beyond for our family and friends. It was a magical wedding setting and made for an unforgettable trip. Highly recommend!
