Miramar Apartments

The sunrise from the beach was beautiful. It started out cool, then warmed up as the sun came up. The pool and beach access were great too. We showed up at Miramar Suites without a reservation around 5 p.m. on a Thursday during tourist season. There were three of us, and room #2 was available, right across from the office. The walkways were all paved, so no sand or mud, and the landscaping was adorable. A few steps up took us to a spacious suite with a ready-made sofa bed, a full kitchen, two good-sized bathrooms, a king bed, and two exits. There was a porch with two chairs out front and a back door through the kitchen to a patio with two more. I slipped on the wet steps and landed on my hands and knees. I didn't break anything, but I was sore all over from the fall. The manager and staff were so concerned and accommodating that I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

A great spot to relax and recharge, with its own beach on the Caribbean. Restaurants and grocery stores are an easy walk away. I could see staying here for a few days or even weeks.

Steps from the sand, with a clean, comfortable room and staff who made us feel welcome. This lovely little beachfront hotel is close to all the fun. I'd recommend it :)

Miramar has a pool and is right by the beach, so you get both. The rooms are thoughtfully set up with everything a guest could ask for. For me, it's the best place to stay in Placencia.
