Lucy runs the place and was so helpful, really the best. My wife and I stayed here in November 2019 and had a great time. The room was comfortable and very nice, with plenty of space and a sitting area, much better than most hotel rooms. Cable TV, AC, and internet all worked fine. It’s close to San Ignacio, about a seven-minute walk over the bridge to downtown, with restaurants, shops, and stores. We also used William’s shuttle to and from Belize City airport for an easy door-to-door ride. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lucy was so sweet and helpful. She got our laundry done really quickly and gave us lots of good advice. The place is extremely clean and in a great spot, within walking distance of everything but away from the noise. For a budget stay, it’s great. I’d definitely come back :)

After a sleepless night, I washed up with cold water because there was no hot water, then left for good. What a relief. The room had no window and smelled strongly of mold. Every surface was grimy, and the towels and sheets were stained and torn. The hostess made no secret of disliking requests as basic as cleanliness. The worst hotel ever. It’s hard to imagine hygiene being neglected this badly.

The owners were friendly and very helpful, and the rooms were comfortable and clean for a very reasonable price. Bathrooms were also clean and well kept. Guests can use a small kitchen. It’s within walking distance of downtown, but far enough away to avoid the noise there. A great place to stay.

Lucy is doing an amazing job running a fine place. The location is extremely convenient, and the rooms are comfortable, very clean, and well kept. There are no negatives to staying here. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed!
