The grounds at Falling Leaves were lovely, with plenty of wildlife, and the pool was a relaxing place to spend time. We also liked being close to restaurants and right beside the Cahal Pech ruins. The on-site restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced when we ate there. We spent four nights in the honeymoon suite on our honeymoon. It was beautiful, and the veranda jacuzzi was a treat. Paula and the team were so friendly and accommodating. At my request, they decorated the room for Valentine’s Day as a surprise for my wife, which meant a lot to us. We’re glad we chose Falling Leaves and hope to come back when we’re in Belize again.

The room was roomy, clean, and comfortable, and the staff put a lot of work into keeping the gardens beautiful. We didn't use the pool, though it looked very nice, and it was good to have secure parking. The on-site restaurant served very good food and helped us get a quick takeaway breakfast before our early tour. We also appreciated the quiet spot on the edge of town, right beside Cahal Pech Archeological Reserve. Paula and the rest of the staff were warm and welcoming, and made us feel at home. She helped make sure we had what we needed for our tours and offered great recommendations. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

The staff are amazing, happy to suggest places and get you a taxi, and just great to deal with. It's a peaceful spot that's close to town without being right in the middle of it. There's also a Mayan ruin about a 30-second walk away.

My cabin, Cabin 1, was huge and had its own giant hot tub on the veranda. The setting feels very much like the jungle, so expect plenty of little critters around. The staff were welcoming and really helpful, and Christiana at the front desk was fantastic. The hotel is right by the Cahal Pech Mayan ruins, while downtown San Ignacio is only about a 7-minute drive down the hill. I'd call it a fantastic 3.5-star hotel, and I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting San Ignacio.

The hilltop spot made it a little cooler, with a nice breeze, and Cahal Pech was only a few steps away. We could wander around the ruins whenever we wanted and miss the crowds. The restaurant had an incredible view over San Ignacio, and the bartender made the best Piña Colada I've ever had. We stayed four nights in August. It was extremely hot then, but the rooms stayed comfortable with AC, and the pool was a welcome relief.
