Mark was an incredible guide, sharing his passion and so much about Belize’s history and culture. Alan was wonderfully helpful and even picked us up after dinner in town. Lucy greeted us each morning with a smile, and Larry brought great conversation and plenty of laughs. The villa was beautiful, with comfortable rooms and all the amenities we needed, and the food and drinks were delicious and plentiful. We felt cared for from the moment we arrived. This was easily the highlight of our family trip to Belize. Our only regret is not staying longer, and we’d happily come back every time.

Larry made sure I was happy at every turn, and the hospitality at Villa Massis was amazing. The rooms were beautifully furnished, the landscaping lush and manicured, and the food and gourmet drinks delicious. I started thinking about this review while I was still there. I’d visited Belize several times before, and on this trip to the Cayo District, partly to check on the nearby home my wife and I are building, I was there for pleasure and relaxation too. We loved Belize so much that we decided to retire there five years early. Larry and his wonderful staff made me feel like I’d been given a VIP package, even though I knew nothing about one. Whether you’re traveling solo or with a group, I recommend letting them show you Belizean hospitality at its finest.

The staff were welcoming and attentive, and Larry went out of his way to make our evening memorable. The food was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious, and the service was top notch. From the moment we arrived, our time at Villa Massis felt magical. It’s an unforgettable experience, highly recommended!

We came to Villa Massis for our honeymoon and had an amazing experience. The private setting has beautifully kept grounds and access to the river, and our room was clean and spacious. Larry and the whole staff were great, especially Marco. They arranged a private dinner, rides into town, and the adventures we wanted to go on. They also coordinated breakfast and trips and made sure we had airport transportation. We won’t stay anywhere else when we come back!
