Aqua Vista Beachfront Suites

The room was quiet even though there are restaurants and bars close by. They don’t stay open late, and the music wasn’t loud anyway. The location was fantastic, and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The managers were welcoming and friendly, and even arranged a last-minute birthday surprise for my partner. They also offer free concierge service and connected us with great companies for massages, sailing, snorkeling, and even a private island escape for the day. Perfect place!

There are six suites, and we were lucky to have friendly neighbors. Our unit was spacious, even with the pull-out couch open for a third guest, and the washroom had a modern, recently renovated feel. The kitchen was well equipped with a full-size fridge, toaster, plug-in stove, drip coffee maker, utensils, Tupperware, and more. They provide free drinking water from gallon dispensers in a storage cabinet on the ground floor. You get a key and can refill your bottle or the jug in your room. KP and Mandy are easy to reach on WhatsApp if you need anything. When one of our fans broke, they replaced it the next day. The location is amazing, with plenty of restaurants and bars within a five-minute walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Karolina, the housekeeper, and the management team, KP and Mandy, were all amazing.

The hosts Amanda and KP were helpful, available, and knew their stuff. Carolina, the housekeeper, was wonderful too. She did our laundry midweek and cooked us an amazing Belize dinner one evening for a small fee. We really enjoyed spending time with her and her daughter. Aqua Vista is small and quaint, with just six simple but cozy units that are extremely well maintained. The location is perfect for Ambergris Caye and San Pedro. You wake up to the beach and fall asleep to the waves, with five great restaurants and bars less than three blocks away, most with live music nearly every night. The photos don’t quite show how beautiful the beach is. The seaweed was just about ready to be cleaned up and gone for the season. That happens yearly across the western Caribbean and isn’t specific to this resort.

Mandy and KP were outstanding hosts, always available for questions and generous with personal recommendations that helped us make the most of our time on the island. We travel often, and Aqua Vista has become one of our favorite places to stay. Our suite was clean, beautifully designed, and spacious enough for the two of us to relax, with everything we needed for an easy vacation. The patio was a nice place for drinks and ocean views, with good people-watching too. It’s right on the beach and only a short walk from great bars and restaurants, so we could try somewhere new each evening. I wholeheartedly recommend it for a relaxing, memorable getaway.
