Belize Tropical Dream Villas

Gordo was a great host and was right there whenever we needed help. The rooms were dated, but exceptionally large and very clean. The location was convenient, close enough to walk to everything in town, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The kitchen had all the appliances needed to make meals, if you wanted to. The nearby pool was clean, quiet, and close. There isn’t much to do at the villa besides relax.

Lisa made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived at Tropical Dream Villas. When we got off the ferry, she helped with our luggage and guided us back to her place, with us following her golf cart. She was attentive whenever we needed something and answered all our questions. There was a binder of island tips and recommendations in the room. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the shower stayed hot after long days at the beach. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would recommend her villa to anyone.

Booking with Lisa was incredible. She responded quickly, was helpful, and shared ideas for things to do, see, or whatever else we were looking for. The property was central enough to be near what we needed, while still tucked away from busy streets and quiet. It had the comforts of home, including laundry facilities, a kitchen with cookware, and linens. It was a perfect vacation getaway. We’d stay again next time we’re in San Pedro!

Lisa was the best part of the stay. She kept making sure everything was perfect and organized social outings that were great fun and helped me meet people as a solo traveler. She’s a fantastic hostess and one of those great people you meet in life. I’m working remotely full time, and this was my first stop as I started a digital nomad life. The wi-fi was excellent, with no problems at all during my many video calls. The apartment was spacious, super clean, and stocked with everything needed to cook. It’s about a 15 minute walk to downtown, with plenty of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and produce stands nearby. I did quite a bit of diving, and the beach and a pier are two blocks away. The dive shop picked me up there by water taxi and shuttled me to the shop. You can tour the island by golf cart, but you don’t need one for the whole stay since there’s so much within walking distance. I had an absolutely amazing time at Belize Tropical Dream Villas. Can’t say enough good things, and I’m looking forward to getting back soon.
