The yard stays shaded most of the day and catches a lovely ocean breeze, so it's a nice place to relax out of the strong sun. It's a very local setting, with a friendly family often passing through the yard. There are three friendly dogs too, though one likes to bark. My three kids spent the week petting the bigger one. If you're after total quiet, this might not suit you, but knowing what to expect, we thought it was a lovely place. Jaime was a big help, arranging a driver from the airport and water taxi tickets, then meeting us at the dock in his golf cart. His son can take you fishing or snorkeling, and his helper Sparky knows all about inexpensive local street food. The people there were lovely, and I'll miss every one of them. I hope to come back.
