The staff were the highlight for us: so friendly and accommodating, and they even arranged a snorkeling trip and gave us helpful tips on things to do. Airport pickup and drop-off were a nice bonus, and breakfast was good. The room was the weak point. After two lovely resorts, the individual hut felt sparse and worn, and showed its age. I’d suggest booking one of the newer rooms. We even bumped into a staff member in town, who went out of their way to say hello.

The grounds, pools, and beachfront at Victoria House are beautiful, and that lawn is probably the lushest I’ve ever seen. More than anything, though, the atmosphere stood out: peaceful, spacious, and carefully maintained, a quiet oasis amid the overbuilt feel around San Pedro. Every part of the team was great. Breakfast service was excellent, the pool attendants were attentive without hovering, and the bar staff made us feel welcome and looked after. We left rested and cared for. This hotel made the trip.

We’ve traveled all over, and Victoria House Resort & Spa is my favorite place I’ve stayed. We spent four days there, and everything felt amazing, a 5/5 stay. They even arranged our flights from Belize City to San Pedro. Our room was clean, spacious, and wonderful. We were surprised with a complimentary upgrade to an oceanview suite. The beach was breathtaking, and there were always loungers free by the perfect pools. On arrival, we got an amazing welcome drink, then a gentleman showed us around the resort and to our room. Thanks for such a great stay!

We had dinner outside under the stars for Valentine's Day, and a cool breeze made it comfortable. The server was engaging, attentive, and knew the menu. The appetizers were delicious and just the right size, the fish was perfect, and even though I hate broccoli and cauliflower, I ate every bite. Dessert was decadent. Best meal I’ve had in ages. Don’t pass this place up if you’re nearby.

That house-smoked bacon jam made our avocado, bacon, and egg toast. Sweet and smoky, it completely changed the dish, and we’re still thinking about it. We both ordered it, with classic mimosas alongside. At Admiral Nelson's beach bar restaurant, the water is right there, and the setting is quiet and relaxed. You can sit inside or outside, both shaded, with the doors and windows open to the warm breeze and gentle waves. Service was genuinely attentive, and the whole breakfast felt easy and unhurried. Whether you're staying at Victoria House or just visiting, it's a lovely spot to slow down and enjoy the morning. Hayley’s highlight was the toast and bacon jam.
